A Jordanian visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans photography, printmaking, and artist books. His work is deeply rooted in the landscapes, histories, and cultural memory of the Levant, exploring the relationship between place, identity, and personal experience.x
Journey
Two decades of sustained looking
Through carefully composed images, tactile printed materials, and intimate book-based narratives, he reflects on themes of belonging, heritage, displacement, and the passage of time.
Visual language
Restraint as method.
His work is characterised by restraint and precision. He rarely uses artificial light, preferring the natural light of early morning or dusk. The palette trends toward the monochromatic — limestone greys, dust whites, the amber of afternoon stone. Colour, when it appears, is incidental rather than sought.
